Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hey everyone, only got my xbox recently and haven't both games in years. Where would be the cheapest place to buy say pro evo 2009 and Bully? i looked at play and the prices don't seem that great to be honest, was expecting a bit cheaper for what're essentially old games. Thanks in advance!

It varies a lot from place to place tbh. You should be able to find used copies of both of those games in any of the retail outlets that do 2nd hand games - xtra vision, gamestop, smyths.

If want to buy online, gamesnash.ie are pretty good and local too.

Bully is €18 used on play, hard to get much cheaper than that. Be prepared to wait for the delivery though.

One thing I've noticed this year is that prices on 360 games have dropped
across the board. If you're paying €60+ for a new release you're getting
    ripped off.

I picked up most of the current top ten games for €30-40 recently.
You will however need to check several sites as different shops
vary greatly in prices for different titles.

My advice is to search 3 or 4 for the titles you need and keep an eye
    on Bargain Alerts here.

    Sites I check before ordering:
www.play-asia.com or www.videogamesplus.ca for region free games
www.play.com their exchange rate sucks but sometimes they have offers.
www.gamestation.co.uk/ or www.sendit.com or www.thehut.com allow you to pay in GBP,
so additional savings with current rates and again keep
an eye open for their current sales/promo prices.

On the rare occasion you may find Game or Zavvi selling a new release
for €45 as their weekly offer.

For older games, again check the various sites.

Ebay myself. Just keep an eye out for games I want and if nobody is really bidding I'll pounce on it in the last 10 seconds. It's even better at the moment with the pound being so weak.

I thought I was the only one that did that!!

Next time I lose an auction I'll know who to blame.

Not to be a traitor or anything, but you can pick up new 360 games in Northern Ireland for about £20.

Bit of an odd, defensive attitude!

Makes sense buying games up there at the mo with the exchange rate being what it is! + the fact it's just way cheaper anyway!

Methinks poster was referencing some of our luminary politicians who stated - in all their wisdom - it was unpatriotic to purchase goods up North/abroad.

I normally buy online, checking the Bargains Alert forum daily for games I wouldn't buy at full price.
find-games.co.uk for comparing online prices :D
