I have a 1993 Pajero which I want to sell/trade in if possible. I have a budget for approx 20k euro which I know will get me a 2006/2007 Pajero SWB but I'm wondering should I drop down the years and get a landcruiser?

I bet you offer this fellow 20K and he'll take hand and all.
Then you get to keep your old Pajero and get the Landcruiser. Wouldn't agree that a Landcruiser is any worse or better than a Pajero though. Its all to do with how well these yokes are minded.

Not much between the Pajero and the landcrusier, in terms of toughness, reliability, towing/off road ability, or anything really. Id lean towards the Mitsubishi my self, but both models do have their own little faults that crop up now and then.

Unless it really matters to you, put condition, milage and spec above age on the list of priorities, although in your price range you will be paying for the year somewhat. Loads of commercials on the second hand market for the taking this year

Thanks for that...I'm leaning towards a landcruiser anyway..Is there any major problems that occur with a landcruiser? With my old Pajero I had alot of alternator trouble and don't want to head down that road again.
