Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Casino was designed by Sir William Chambers as a pleasure house for James Caulfeild, 1st Earl of Charlemont.

    C&C as usual appreciated

I like number 1, great detail in the building. I would maybe take the "golden" gap between the last pillar and the wall under the lion statue out. Just in the front, bottom right. I think it is slightly distracting to the eye.

Number 2, I don't like the position of the path on the right as it instantly brought my eye to that side of the photo, maybe crop that out?

Number 3, whilst a little dark for my tastes, has a great sense of foreboding to it. I don't like the little white cabins on the left or the church on Griffith Avenue that you can see in the extreme right. Maybe clone the cabins out and crop the church out?

As I said on your pixie #1 is my favourite of the set.
The path in #2 while interesting does indeed distract.
Agree with the white cabins (security?) in pic #3.
Very good set mind, I would be very happy with them with my limited landscape/architecturel skills. :o

It is a pity about the white huts, they do spoil some of the better angles. I left in the the church and O'Briens Institute as I gives some context to latter day buildings in the location. I had an hour free yesterday and went up to take a few shots as I grew up just down from the Church on the right. I see what you mean about the path and I will have a go at cloning it out.

    Thanks for the comments

Can I be a rebel & say I like the path in the second one, maybe crop the right a bit so that the path leads in from the edge of the photo.

In the third one the huts draw my eye right to them, but I don't know what could be done with them.

Number one has a bit of a HDR look about it. Nice but seems quite processed.
