    Hi,

(please excuse error in the title) I would be gratefull if someone could help me. I left the lights on in my Mitsubishi Carisma and the battery went flat. It wouldn't jump for some reason. I then took out the battery and replaced it with a fully charged battery. I got the car going and so I put my flat battery back in. I left the car running for a while in order to charge up the battery. But the thing is it cut out when I started to drive it. I can get it restarted but it just cuts out again. Did I disenable something. I would be gratefull if someone could tell me how to rectify the problem.

You probably reset the ECU, same thing happens on my FTO if I take the battery out for any length of time (>45 mins).
It should just fix itself after a couple of miles driving - the ECU re-maps itself for the type of fuel being used and has to learn the engine characteristics.

Cheers thanks for that. I'll give it a drive and see what happens.
