Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sounds like a problem specifically related to the transformer, as opposed to the Xbox.

Bad luck on the receipt, if you can't get a new one for whatever reason, you may be able to get one on e-Bay?

Worth trying another socket, but it does sound broken. What shop was it purchased in, have you spoken to them? Was it purchased using say Laser or Credit Card? Maybe if you have a statement that show a purchase from them you could bring that in, it's better than nothing :)

Otherwise you'll probably have to contact Microsoft's Xbox Support directly, they don't ask for receipts but it takes longer as they'll have to post it to you.

Go in and ask them for a receipt reprint. don't mention anything wrong with the console, just that you lost the receipt., they'll go through the system and print you a new one if you can give them the date and approximate time it was bought.,

How reliable is your modem / ISP service? Does it ever drop connection?

They'll still have a receipt for it, go in and ask for a reprint.

If your connection does drop, have you tried signing back in straight away?

the connection is pritty s*** but when i get disconected of xbox live i check the signal on the comp and it still has signal.

I'd say at a guess it's your connection then. God knows, Xbox live might require a stronger signal to operate.

Anyway I'm sure theres someone around boards.ie that can confirm or refute that crazy theory!!! :D

Let us know how you get on. If you cannot get a new power adaptor from M$ I have a spare one that works that you can have. M$ sent it back in the box when I got my console repaired a while ago. But ring support, they are actually quiet good most of the time.
