I stumbled upon your bulletin board, joined, and feel that it's only fair that I formally introduce myself.
I currently reside in FL but will be moving north soon. Mother, wife, and full time PPE student living and working on our hobby farm. Spent 13 years in the military--mental health/substance abuse specialist.
My first philosophy course I was lost and frustrated, and it was a struggle to "think" in a new way but by the end of the quarter I had fallen in love. No longer do I read fiction, but dance with glee when I stumble upon a book of Locke or Descarte. In reading through the threads I am learning more, and the challenges of thinking put forth feed my hunger for critical thinking; the aspects to questions I had not pondered before expressed by others enlighten me even further. I look forward to interacting with each of you in the cyber world.
