Country bands around the country

    HI, I'm getting married in Swinford next year and I have a rock/pop band organised for the reception, but A lot of my family and my fiancee's family are into country (i'm not so partial to it myself), so I'd like to also have a country band play at it too.

    do you know any such bands in the swinford/mayo area, the band doesn't have to be of the highest professional standard, any pub bands would do.

    know any country music websites, myspaces, local forums I could ask on, any band directories or anything else that could help me?

    I can give you a few numbers for different bands. Different strokes for different folks though. You'd really need to hear them first to be sure.

    The Duets are very good. As are Kay and the country stars and The country boys.. who you personally like really depends on personal taste.

    Anyway, sure if you want a load of numbers drop me a PM, I'd recommend going to hear them first regardless of how well recommended the band comes.
