Finngegans is good. 15euro gets you a starter/main course or main course/dessert.

I hear supermacs on eyre square do a great 3 piece meal. You might have to book ahead though as they can be quite busy.

The only place I can think of that sounds like McSwiggans is McDonalds but you don't want to go there surely?

The Cottage would be great for this..not as 'main meal-y' but get a few dishes to share and it's perfect.

Mustard has moved to Bridge Mills so could be a good option

Definitely Finnegans or O Riordans. Unbelievable good value.

Anyone tried the new Brannagans yet?

Cava is great, and quite reasonably priced.

Also, I really like the Malthouse -somebody mentioned to me that they are having a midweek special offer for January, anybody know anything? (before I, being the lazt wagon that I am, lift the phone?!)

If you mean where 'Bazaar' used to be then yes. Food nice, great service and not too expensive.

Yep, that's the one. The 3 plus points you gave it are just why we used to go to the old one so often, before it became part of CP

+1 on Kashmir. Best Indian I've ever had. Anywhere.
