The Steelers are a good team but I have grown to dislike their fan base.
I went to the Pats V Steelers game this year. It was the worst experience of my life. It was so wet it was unbeliveable, I had been in Thomond Park for Munster V Wasps the year before where the rain was comparable, but the result was better and the temperture was nowhere near -13C.
The Steeler fans at the game were all aholes running around shoving their terrible hankies in people's faces.
In my section there was one fan running up and down the stand waving his terrible towel. When he sat down row or two front of me he started shouting abuse at a Pats fan who had told him to shut up earlier. The steelers fan kept antagonizing the Pats fan for the whole 3rd Q till he said something about his gf and the Pats fan leaped up across 4 rows of seats and beat the crap out of the Steelers fan. Then the cops jumped in to break it up and they arrested the Steelers fan and let the Pats fan go
. Justice.
The one bright spot of the day.

You cannot judge all Steeler fans by that surely. They have one of the great fan bases of NFL teams. They are very hard on their own team when they don't live up to expectations.The Steelers are a good team but I have grown to dislike their fan base.

I'm a Patriot but I respect the supporters of the Steelers probably more than any other club, well the dog pound is another place I bow down to.0 -

I was going to cheer for the Steelers being a Pats fan and being loyal to the AFC but man you just turned me off them GO Cards. :rolleyes:0 -
