Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't think what you describe will work. You must install every program you wish to use directly unless it's a so-called "standalone" or "portable" program which doesn't need to store settings in the Windows registry.

    Agreed.

Only way to do it is to uninstall and reinstall on the second drive

there are hack's to do it... like junctions and the old XP registry fix, but basically they never work in full. things like Windows update stop working, and other inbuilt Vista applications. I've seen some bizarre cases where people do this, but have to reinstall something to C everytime they want to update Windows...

in short i've done exactly what you did. left drivers and the Windows stuff on C and reinstalled the rest to another drive. seems to be the only failsafe way of going about it, even if it isn't the fully desireable solution.
