Can a mother, who has bought a car in Northern Ireland, let their daughter drive the car in the Republic of Ireland if it is registered in the mother's name?

    To answer the question:

No resident of the state may drive a car that is registered in another country. i.e. unless the NI car is registered in the Republic (and VRT paid) the daughter can't drive it legally.
