    Many happy memories of watching him presenting the snooker over the years. He was one of those people who was really able to show he had a great interest in whatever he covered, unlike many these days.

    Sadly missed. :(

    My first memory of him is on Superstars from the last 70's. Then Ski Sunday on which he was a great commentator. Then of course we had two weeks of him covering the snooker WC in Sheffield. For those who saw it, who can forget Superstars? Quality stuff.

    He had a GREAT TV voice

    I met him a few times in Sheffield....

    He was the best......
