I don't understand what's so strange about "some guy" having an iPhone. It's a nice phone. I get the feeling that irrational hatred for iPhones is becoming as much a fashion statement as the devotion shown to it by UCC preps (what is a prep?)

its more that iphones tend to be owned by a certain demographic of preppy cosmopolitan urbanites, like the kind you see going to UCC. its not that I hate the iphone but I stereotypically associate iphones with that sort of people. the iphone is what they call a "fashion phone" in the industry. you buy it because it looks nice, for the overly decorative interface. not for practicality.

Sorry for continuing off-topic, but it's not. It's a nice-looking and useful-in-some-respects device, but it's an absolutely awful phone.
