    Hi,

I have a set of gates hung on piers and one is suffering from a bad case of green slimey shoite growing on it.

I don't want to damage the timber cleaning it so what do you'se recommend?

    Thanks!

I could not say for sure sorry, but on that not how about a decking cleaner, all the hardware stores have them and they kill moss and dont harm timber decking.

Bread Soda - cheap and very effective especially on wood.

Mix with water to make into a paste, rub on, soak and rinse off.
