Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Here's the list of who every captain and manager entitled to vote voted for:

    http://fr.fifa.com/mm/document/classic/awards/99/15/29/resultsmenforfifa.com.pdf

A few points that stood out:

Lol @ Benayoun the homer, voting both Torres and Gerrard
Shay Given voted for Iker Casillas
    Trapattoni went for Messi

It's actually a lot closer then people expected. Looks like Ronnie only won it by the skin of his teeth,

Was wondering that myself. At a guess Keane wasn't available so it went to the vice-captain?

136 had Ronaldo as 1st choice. 76 had Messi.

Just looking over the list and found it interesting to note that more captains voted for Ronaldo than managers and more managers voted for Messi than captains. Does this tell us anything ?

Nuno Gomes should never be allowed to vote again.

Ah. So that's why Trapattoni didn't voted Whelan and Gibson no 1 and 2!

Even Mascherano voted him above his own teammates - interesting conversations in that dressing room.

Another that voted for him thar was unlikely was Drogba
