not if it's locked. a locked vodafone uk phone will not accept a vodafone irl sim

YES! There are numerous threads which people ask the same question, if I buy a phone in UK can I use my irish sim in it, generally NO unless its unlocked, and Yes you can get it unlocked over here, ask in the UNLOCKING forum or contact Columba R'ad for more info!

O2 UK seem to have a habit of not simlocking their phones for some reason.
