    HOWEVER!!!! it won kick in till tomoro prob .. (the 7 meg.) that tracert is on a 1meg connection

    This looks like you're on a LLU connection with BT?
    If it is Bitstream, what exchange are you connected to?

    Also - the source of the highest latency on that particular trace is on the interface between bt and digiweb. Presumably they've got some congestion on that peering link. Might be worth trying some other traces to other web sites to see if they are the same.

    btw type< tracert boards.ie > without the < > into command prompt.. rightclick and mark. draga cross the info . and copy. past into boards and some1 will hav a look for u
