Unfortunately, ability to pre-ordering pyro will not be available. But pyro will be available for sale on the Saturday morning before the game starts.

Yes, we were like kids in a candy shop last time, and I'm sure some will be again. I think the thermobarics are a waste of money, and they only count as one hit in any case.

However, bear in mind that whatever you buy has to be used on site. You can't bring them home.

Not so. The thermobarics do have the bang element to them, which really does serve to disorient you if it goes off beside you in a small room.

There's also the intimidation factor. I remember last year rolling one down the stairs of building 26, and hearing a frantic "TRIPLE BANG!!!" followed by the sound of a squad vacating the room forthwith.

They're also less likely to come apart and malfunction when thrown. The ball grenades came apart on my pouch last time.

Very true, I was holding a top floor with 2 others at about 1am with a squad of 20 down stairs chucking them at us for 35min straight. I nearly walked off due to the total blindness and deafness they caused. If one go's off in a room your in its very disorienting, even if you manage to close your eyes.

Key is to throw it and the second you hear the last bang follow it in the door and shoot all the poor f#*kers that don't know what way is up.

Yeah, well, the point of my post was to remind first-timers that you can't bring pyros home, so don't waste money on buying a box-full unless you're going to use them.

OK Ladies, getting close to the time. Here's some last-minute logistical stuff.

• CIVVIES ON THE FERRY. Remember that BDUs freak people out, and travel is a high-stress time for a lot of people.
• If you need an IAA latter saying you're a skirmisher (this may appease any UK authorities familiar with VCRA/UKARA), please PM me and I'll get you one.
• Bring Photo ID. It's useful, like.
• The Irish contingent have building 11 in Sennybridge reserved for the friday night. This is the large building in the square with the toilets in the bottom and steps up to a door
• If you're getting the 1330 SEACAT on friday, check ferrywatch to make sure it doesn't get cancelled (that thing gets cancelled if a seagull lands on it)
• If you're on the 1330 ferry, the Hawks will be on that, too. We'll be in the gucci seats, or playing silent scope.
• Travel PMR frequency is on channel 7, subchannel 1. Set your PMR to this if you want to find people on the road (who are within PMR range, of course).

Channel 7 is 446.08125MHz, subchannel 1 is frequency 67.

Please note that I have had to guess on some of the section commanders in order to publish this ORBAT. If you another member of your team to take the section commander role then we can sort that out at the weekend.

The most important aspect right now is that we have players grouped together in the right order.

As for medic. There are still some sections with no medic. EVERY section will have a medic. So if your section has no medic then start thinking about who it should be....

Im the Platoon Comander... Not section commander. Gar is Section commander. DOC (Hawk Doc) is the Platoon Sgt.
