Hi, I may need to get a new engine for Honda Accord Petrol (new type). Obviously this is a last resort but wondering does anybody know where i could get my hands on one. I rang a couple of breakers but they didnt have any. Help appreciated!

what happened, not like a newish honda engine to bang, is there any warranty?

Breakers would be the best bet, try Traynors Car Dismantlers & Motor Factors .86 Armagh Rd, Moy Co Tyrone (048) 38891242. There big so might have one. Best thing would be to get the yellow pages and ring everyone.

There's an urban myth doing the rounds that Honda have NEVER had a warranty claim for a VTEC engine. EVER!

So do tell...
