Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Photo software with FTP - recommendations

Can anyone recommend good photo library software with the ability to have FTP (file transfer protocol) built in? What I need to be able to do is set up two or three ftp destinations and select individual pics to send to those FTP "drop boxes". The ability to add EXIF data to the pics is also essential.

Is there an "industry standard" software that the pro photographers use to send pics to their editors? I googled and found some free editors etc but I am thinking there must be some pro software that is used by the papps and professional press photographers.

    thanks guys/gals.

Most professionals seem to use either Fotostation or Lightroom. These both have the ability to tag, caption, export images with exif, build galleries and ftp those to sites.

Other than that, just get a good ftp client.

Thanks for that Paul. I wasn't aware of those, exactly what I am looking for.
