Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cost of gas central heating

    Hi,

We are about to move into a house with gas central heating. We've only ever lived in houses with storage heating/electric heaters and just wondered if there will be a big difference in cost assuming we heat the house in the same way. Is gas generally cheaper or more expensive than electricity? How much is a standard fill of gas, or does that depend on the company?
Thanks in advance, and apologies if the answer to this is posted elsewhere, I couldnt seem to find it

Just to clarify - is it piped natural gas or have you a gas tank (LPG)? I get the impression that by 'standard fill of gas' you have LPG?
