Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hence why i said a full time league is years away and that clubs should be looking to go full time as a long term goal. Obviously they need to get on a sound financial footing first before attempting to move forward and even then it should be done slowly with teams not spending beyond their means.

You said clubs should have a mix of full and part time players. They shouldn't have either full or part time players if they can't afford them.

Well if they can't afford to have full time players that's fair enough. i was thinking more of the bigger clubs in the premier division having a mix of full time and part time or any club that can afford it. If a club can't afford to keep any players on full time they should'nt.

If it goes back to clubs only having part time players it will be harder to attract good players to the LOI as some players will want to be full time.

That's all well and good until the next property or Internet boom and some one starts throwing loads of money at a club,
What will the fans and others say
Stop, we need to be on a sound financial footing before we can start spending all this cash you are giving us'
Will they hell, the club will live the hight life till it lasts and then find them back in the situation clubs are in today.

To be fair most clubs around the world would do that anyway. If Roman Abromovich decided to pull out of Chelsea they'd be crippled with massive debt as would many of the other clubs backed by billionaires around the world.
