Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Controller Problem

Bought an xbox with two controllers on monday. One worked fine straight out of the box but the other (came separate to the console package) I can't get going. Pushing the xbox button on the controller sets the lights rotating around the ring but it doesn't settle on one as it should. Is there some console syncing that needs to be done with this? I was going to bring it back to be replaced but then it occurred to me that maybe it needs to be synced...

Op there's a little white button on the front of the Xbox, press that when you turn on the 2nd controller and they will link.

Thanks for that genius bit of advice there missus. I'm guessing you're a woman as clearly no self respecting male would read instructions for anything. It's good to know that gaming can cross the gender boundary though

Ha, cut me deep there! no all man and very comfortable in my sexuality when looking through the insturction manual! ;)

just an addition, i think you also have to press the little black button on the top of the controller as well as the one of the front of the console.

Hah such a male thing I struggled with mine for about an hour before reading the manual and then later that day me and my bro concluded that his new wii controller was faulty after trying to start it for ages had the receipt in hand and then I decided to give the manual a bash! Had to be sync'd!!
