Just spotted an open in The Island on this coming Monday lads and ladies, a 4 person mixed team event for St Francis Hospice. Decent forecast, good cause and 50e wont break the bank. Still a few times left, dont think theyl last!

Tullamore Open Week from today to Monday June 6th. Green fees €12-€20.

Played it today and the course condition is immaculate. Best greens I've played on this year.

Muskerry on Tuesday would be better...I was a member of cobh last year and their opens are v badly supported

might be up for that, am doing the marathon the day before so will depend on how that goes!

Castlemartyr might be better than Muskerry so, those hills will kill you after the marathon

Would love to but don't think the legs would be up to it after carne.

I'm starting in Carne so would be after Enniscrone on my way to stay in Rosses so makes more sense in that rotation I think.

Tougher again it's a tiring 3 days as it is.
Have to say strandhill is one of my favorite courses.
