Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
Great little item. The cream is 12E on pixmania but if your near Asda you'll pick it up for £5, stocked up while there at christmas, cost around 16E down here.

Its a lower model, doesn't have the fancy stand and as many lights on the front.
Its not on their site that I can see, but plenty of pics of it in the links in the first post.

Yes, be careful which model you are getting. The 8060 charges quicker and holds twice as much charge as the 8040 or 8020.

Philips HS8020 Coolshave Electrical Razor €40

    Hi,

Is having the shaving gel installed a must for this product or will it function without it ?

The HS8020 sounds like a pretty cool deal for €40.

Can't seem to see the HS8020 on the Power City Web Site.

    http://www.powercity.ie/?par=50-05-H8060 shows the HS8060 for €99 online.

I assume its only the HS8020 thats costs €40 at the till and not any of the other products eg HS8060 that a previous poster said had longer lasting battery power.

Does anyone know if this offer will be valid tomorrow, friday 16.01.2009 also ?

You could probably use it without the gel if you used something else instead, but it doesn't shave to well on dry skin.
I think there is 15% off all Philips products.

Is it only an instore promotion? The 8020 doesn't seem to be on their website, only the 8040 and 8060?
