Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Demo or Trial DSLR from Shops

Bit of a long shot (no pun intended :D ) I suppose but does anyone know if camera shops have demo models that they give out on trial/to rent for people considering purchasing :confused: I was looking at a Nikon D90 in a shop on Tuesday & it's fine to look at the camera in the shop & have a quick mess around but I'd like to…

Bit of a long shot (no pun intended ) I suppose but does anyone know if camera shops have demo models that they give out on trial/to rent for people considering purchasing

I was looking at a Nikon D90 in a shop on Tuesday & it's fine to look at the camera in the shop & have a quick mess around but I'd like to have a decent trial in the real world

A bit much to hope for I suppose

They will also take the cost of the rental out of the purchase price too, as far as I know

If you ask really nicely (& hint at a few beers ) some kind person may offer to meet up with you let you have a play with their baby.

I would offer but I don't have a D90.
