oh wow, that is a hot look ;)

I dunno, just thought it might be interesting, or might help spice the forum up a bit

Aye, if more Black Metallers looked like that, I think it would be more popular. :D

For the interests of discussion, sure why not.

well personally I wouldn't wear pants like those :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,148 ✭✭✭Passenger

The pants are what make the outfit.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,944 ✭✭✭✭Links234

well, I guess it's not the outfit for me then ;)

soooo is anyone really looking forward to the Hypocrisy gig? They've been a large part of my weeks listening pleasure and I for one think it's going to be absolutely mental :D

It's just a pity the gig is on a week night. Otherwise I'd probably mosey along and check them out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 339 ✭✭Elrollo

aye it is indeed, got myself the day after off because I know I'll be far too far gone to move out of bed till at least the crack of noon!

SO! I'm gutted, I didn't win the shoes, and they went for only £12.50!

in other news, had an awesome lunch with a friend today,
and last night I was drawing out where all the notes are on the guitar, so I've a nice fretboard with all the notes marked. supposedly writing it out yourself helps you remember it better, so I think I'm going to try writing it out more and hopefully some stuff will stick more ;) really enjoying myself getting back into guitar.

also, i plan to win the lotto tonight

That's a pretty productive day. And only £12.50?! You didn't bid at the last second?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 20,944 ✭✭✭✭Links234

I did, but it seems like the other person bidding had set up automatic bidding so whatever I put in, I was automatically outbid :(

you are best off i think to put in the max price you are willing to pay and let ebay autobid you up to that.
Less hassle, if you get it you get it and if not it was because it went for more than you thought it worth anyway

I bought a motorcycle in UK this way a few years ago, great bargain it was at the time too!!

I want a Suhr modern guitar.

    i just do.

I've never really tried to bid on stuff before, so you live and learn :(

I was looking at a crazy expensive guitar there that I'd love to have but could never afford. http://www.espguitars.co.jp/artist/ruiza/index.html :D

I never bother bidding on items. I just buy what I want on Buy It Now. It's always cheaper then retailers anyway.

links that is insanely expensive, you could get two totally hand made custom instruments from any luthier with almost any spec for that!

your japanese metal thing is leading you down an expensive road ;-)

Never say never, some people spend ten times that on a car that will lose 90% of it's value in ten years
A good guitar is a much better investment

along with a cheap car to transport it around in......

The only stuff I've ever bought on ebay were flags, I have Chinese, USSR, and Vietnam flags now.

there was never a buy it now price on the shoes in the first place... the fact they went for so little is a kick in the bum, 'cos I could actually afford them. really wanted a new pair of shoes for ages :o

that's the RRP or something, the actual shop price is a lot less.. not that I'd buy it anyway 'cos it's still a lot of money :p

but you know, if I had my pick of guitars, I'd love to have it :D

I did history for the Leaving cert, and I got really into the Cold War era stuff, as well as studying the course of Russian politics from the rise of Lenin onwards.

My teacher was a socialist too, so he didn't exactly discourage me. :P
