Yup, not bad. I miss Premier League football when it's not on though.

Relaxing with some Rush at the moment and will watch The Atheist Experience at 22:30, how about yourself?

We watched it in work today, had a bit of a Breaking Bad finale party.

I really didn't mind waiting a week for a new episode but now I have nothing to look forward to next week. It'll be hard to find another series that can engross me so much :(

I'm just very glad The Walking Dead is back - makes the Monday a bit more bearable!

Was in Barcelona and Stockholm last week - just beautiful :):D

I didn't sadly, was too much to see and do already - beautiful places :D
Did get to a "rock bar" in Stockholm though - the locals/regulars told me it was; "Where people go who like music and drink rum but are considered lesser and the establishment is known as crumbs and mocked by others"

Cleanest/friendliest/decorated pub I've ever been to! Was like drinking and dancing in a TGIs :D:)

But, I am off to Birmingham over the weekend to see Bowling For Soup :o:D Its their last tour in the UK, so the 14 year old in me asked very nicely to go :D:o

A Perfect Circle's first new song in nine years:

*will be part of a greatest hits compilation released on Nov 19th

Not really new, in that they've played it live. The studio recording is new though.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 805 ✭✭✭xerces

Oh right, this morning was my first time hearing it. I was hoping there'd be an album of new material on the way when I saw the article headline, but it's part of a greatest hits compilation.

Anybody going to Queensrÿche tomorrow? Just looking at the setlist atm in anticipation. :D

Yep I'm heading, had the tickets ages now cause the rearrangement from the original date. Means I'm missing the Bohs v Bray game though which I'm not happy about :(

Ah it should be worth it. Have you seen the setlist? Gonna have a few Troubled Hooker's beforehand. :D

Nope I'll have a peak at it now. Wasn't particularly impressed with Troubled Hooker, but only had a sip, I'll have to help myself to a proper pint at some point.

I'm heading as well. Had a hairy moment there, thought I'd lost the ticket! It's been sitting on the shelf a long time now...

Looking forward to a good gig!

Queensryche were excellent last night. Brilliant performance and great crowd.

Todd La Torre is more than capable of filling Tate's boots!

I am indeed. I'll be at that and at Russian Circles on Sunday. You heading to either of them?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,148 ✭✭✭Passenger

As much as I'd like to see Russian Circles I'll just be heading to GIAA on Sat. Only €22 as well. What more to ye want. :D

Yeah, it's a bargain! It'll be my third time seeing GiaA. Both times they've been absolutely stellar live. Can't wait!

Absolutely. I'm assuming that they'll be on stage around 9ish? There's no mention of support for the gig either.

I was wondering about the support myself. Doesn't seem to be any support mentioned about any of their Irish gigs in the coming week. Gonna be checking them out in Cyprus Avenue in Cork on Thursday. Should be a great start to the Jazz weekend!
