Hate stage diving ever since some prick kicked me in the head doing it at a show before. Another time saw someone clearly too large to reasonably do it, dive off and flatten a few people.

Nearly got in a brawl at Hellfest a few years back with some over enthusiastic crowd surfers.

And that folks, is why I hate stage diving/crowd surfing ;)

I've been gaming away like mad, I got Payday 2 and I'm kinda... a wee bit engrossed in it! :D

That good? I've kinda wanted to play it, but never got around to it... I remember seeing one of the games had a level with a similar layout to one of the Left 4 Dead games.

Housemate is confused by my music...

"So this is an all-girl band?"
    "none of them are girls."
    "..."

Was it a Visual Kei band? :D

Any Dublin peoples not doing anything tomorrow night, come to Fibbers downstairs. There's five or six bands playing, including my band Mother Mooch, we're kinda grungey stoner rock with a little punk thrown in for good measure.

    We're on at 9.45.

It's a fiver in and there's drinks promotions and stuff.

Oh it was a purely random guess, Links. I mean, you've never mentioned that you like Japanese Metal and you never post Visual Kei videos in the Now Listening to... thread. :p:D

    Which band was it btw?

I'm not sure, do you think?

Ah, who am I kidding? Japanese metal is full of very, very pretty guys :pac:

That reminds me of my couple of times in Japan so much, they're such a mental bunch of people, love it.

Loved my time in Japan so much, I had an amazing time. At one point we were even in a bar that we were almost certain was owned by a Yakuza :pac: He was an awesome guy though.

I am quite desperate to go back again, I had a huge nostalgia buzz a while ago when I went looking up on google street view all the places I visited. I wanna go shopping in Shinsaibashi again! :D There's so much more I want to see next time, like the Ghibli museum, and I'd love to go to Hokkaido.

Or for that matter, as I have mostly been listening to today, Maximum The Hormone

Just spotted this on Reddit, Dream Theater are giving away a free live album. I'm not much of a fan of the band, but thought some people here might enjoy it.
