Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This guy has the first images of the stricken aircraft in the river long before rescue craft arried. All he wants is a credit where ever it's used.

How many of us would be so unselfish or would we be counting the potential gold?

Anyway credit to Greg Lam Pak Ng

Hmm.. Subject is too central. I would suggest maybe a longer lens or trying to get closer. The clutter in the background adds nothing to the image ........

    What? It's not for C&C? ;)

That's a toy plane in a dirty kitchen sink.

    Nice try.

We seem to define "unselfish" differently. I'd see it as "disregarding your own advantages and welfare over those of others". Asking for credit does not meet this criteria - there are advantages...

TBH that image would have a VERY short shelf life. The only thing it had going for it was that it was first. The news agencies had better images within minutes, so not worth a lot. He got his few moments of fame ..... good on him.
