Hi, sorry if this post sounds a bit stupid but I dont really know where to start. Well I want to start messing around with some beats and samples and stuff, but I dont really know what bit of kit to get? I have a few programs for my PC but nothing great. Have thought about this for a while, but this video just pushed me that bit more.

I clearly dont expect to be that good (ever) but just want to mess around with the idea. Anybody got any suggestions on a starter bit of kit or a good place to research what might be a good option for me.

    Cheers.

Well he's using an MPC there (2000xl?). The thing to (his) right he's triggering is one of them cheapy Boss samplers - SP-303 I think. Both could be bought together second hand for under the grand mark. That said, you can't buy the talent to go with it secondhand :D
