Doing a masters in oz?

I wonder if doing a masters in oz would help get permanent residency?? It surely would help on the GSM Program anyway would it? :)

This might not be super helpful but I know for sure that getting a masters in NZ makes it easier to get residency. You get points towards it for being educated in NZ.

Not sure if that is the case in Aus though, sorry.
