Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

On form Ulster (last weekends blip aside) meet on form Quins. I've got a wee feeling that this one's going to be a a cracker. Really looking forward to two teams who've been chucking it about all season going hammer and tongs at each other.

The Backrow contest alone will be worth the price of admission.

    Ulster

(15-9) Clinton Schifcofske; Andrew Trimble, Darren Cave, Paddy Wallace, Simon Danielli, Ian Humphreys, Isaac Boss
(1-8)Tom Court, Rory Best (Capt ), BJ Botha, Ed O’Donoghue, Ryan Caldwell, Stephen Ferris, Kieron Dawson, Chris Henry

    Replacements:
(16-22) Nigel Brady, Justin Fitzpatrick, Matt McCullough, David Pollock, Paul Marshall, Paul Steinmetz, Bryn Cunningham

    Quins

    Harlequins: M Brown, T Williams, G Tiesi, J Turner-Hall, U Monye, N Evans, D Care, C Jones, C Brooker, M Ross, J Percival, J Percival, G Robson, C Robshaw, W Skinner (capt), N Easter.

    Replacements: M Lambert, J Evans, T Guest, A Gomarsall, C Malone, E Taione.

Don't think Ulster are going to be able to live with the excellent Quins backrow, with Diack out and newbie Henry at 8. Should've put Ferris at 8 and Dawson at 6 to fit Pollock in. Shame Wilson and Best are gone, because otherwise thats a strong looking team!

+1, totally agree. Definitely be watching out for the intro of Pollock. Shame they've had to re-jig. Possibly the form Irish forward of the season sitting on the bench cooling his heels...

Weather looks ****e though, should be a plus for the Ulstermen...

I think we can definitly end the debate about who is 2nd choice OH for Ireland and get the debate going as to who is first choice.

Hopefully. It seems to show all the Irish/English heineken cup games.

Lovely half from Ulster...they'll need to tighten it up into the wind in the 2nd, Quins are having a very bad day, losing composure. Ulster have them well-rattled.

Biarritz losing to Calvisano too. English and French teams are taking a bit of a battering this weekend.

Lets see now if Ulster can close this out.

Saw the tries at half time. some good stuff, no more than the warriors deserve. They've been there or there-abouts all season...Smacks of one of those classic 'arrogant Toulouse' banana skins.

One of the stands being evacuated because of weather! Hope they can finish the game...although with that penalty try the Quins pack are really starting to get on top.

Absoluetly disastrous substitution. Dean Richards has screwed his team. Malone on, misses kick then charged down for a try. Astonishing!!! What a bizarre game of rugby...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19,341 ✭✭✭✭Chucky the tree

    tits up for Dean Richards.

Richards gonna have a lot of explaining to do.... talk about throwing away what seemed to be their comeback.

Jaysus. The kick for the conversion barely made 10 metres! Chris malone:o

Lol, whats the opposite of an impact player? Because Malone is it. Evans was having a corker too.Utterly inexplicable substitution

    Great result for Glasgow too.

Great dogged displayed by Ulster that was a match that will really add to their credibility. Just sad that they have SF away and not home!
