Looking for help on finding an old thread from this forum...

Last year there were several posters who were looking for an Irish cook book that their mothers used in school (60s-70s). A copy was available on ebay but too expensive.

If anyone can remember what the name of the book was I can then find the threads and contact the posters to see if anyone wants the copy that I have finally managed to track down.

It was someone looking for a gift for a parent and then about 6 posts in someone else hijacks the same thread looking for the same book. From last nov/dec ?

best way to search here is on google. you can use syntax etc.

cooking site:boards.ie

will only shop up stuff on the boards site. then you can use + or - to exclude stuff. I found the same thread using words from your post.

+mother +school +"cook book" site:boards.ie

http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=%2Bmother+%2Bschool+%2B%22cook+book%22+site%3Aboards.ie&btnG=Search&meta=

Putting "cook book" in quotes means the words have to appear in that exact order. Narrows down things a lot.
