Tips on writing a personal statement

I've done my research on what they may be looking for etc, and about making it 'personal' just wondering how long, or short, should it be:confused:. thanks.

I know the UCD guideline for the personal statement is 600 words so I managed to do a universal PS going on their guidelines.
