    They are just spoiling for an all out war if you ask me.

    Sky news just make it up, anything on there is like their other channels, rubbish. :D

    The timing of the whole offensive IMO was deliberate to coincide with the last days of Bush and coincidently it is ending as Bush leaves. Its now wait and see how the Obama team will tolerate Israeli actions in the future, so I think the latter will test the water first.

    People seem to forget Hamas are terrorists, they use civilan area's to fire from, they use women and children as human shields.

    Israel is correct to wipe out Hamas and any Islamic militants that come in their way.

    Israel withdrew in totality from Gaza, not one Israeli left, their Synagouges were destroyed by the lovely peacing loving suicide bombing Palestinians.

    Hamas then fired up to 6600 rockets across the border...Why if the Israelis were all gone...

    A lot of people here seems to have their facts wrong, about this conflict and the Pallywood scenes done for the camera's and Hamas and the general population of Gaza lying about casulties etc...

    Women and children are dying because of Hamas not Israel, if this happened in any country with rockets fired across borders daily it would be the same or more severe action...

    Hopefully Gaza is totally retaken, Hamas and the Iranian Scum that fuel them drilled into the ground and maybe the moderates can finally come to some peace agreement but on Israeli terms and not on terrorist terms..

    I cannot see that happening, because if Gaza is retaken as you put it, what is there for the moderates to agree to?

    There's already at least one big long thread about the Israeli/Palestinian thing going on. It's not hard to find and what's in the original post here isn't significant enough for a new one. This, happily, isn't the "dump any auld crud into a new-thread rant without making much of an effort" forum. There's an existing thread, use that, this one's locked.

    Also, todolist, post more than an emoticon if you want to post here.
