Does Bruce Buffer do that sharp twist thing at each UFC event??

Yes and its the most stupid thing i've ever seen, makes me cringe at how cheesey it is, and the "ITS TIME" call is stupid too, its just real amateur stuff!

He does seem like a nice guy though..

Thankfully the people in front of me took a break from beer and needing to urinate to allow this short clip to be made of Bruce and his 180. :D

He used to train in MMA as well which is pretty cool.

Nah, I spotted Lorenzo Fertitta cracking up at one REALLY exaggerated one though

No excuse for the booing. Supporting your own guy is fine. That's no reason to boo his opponent. I clapped Hathaway (and anyone else who was booed) until the booing stopped, as did the guys I was with. You can say the booing was tounge in cheek but I think it shows a lack of respect for guys who trained long and hard to entertain you.

Other than the booing, I thought the crowd was fine. I don't think they should have allowed drinking in the seats mind but I don't think it was a big problem for the most part.

I also thought my view from my 75 euro seat was fine and I only watched the screens when the action hit the ground really. Overall, an enjoyable experience I think.

He spun around in his seat and pointed to the guy behind, buffer style, and then cracked up laughing.

    Mike Goldberg is a clown

    Mike Goldberg is a clown

QFT, as is Joe Rogan too.
and Buffer is ridicilus at times, i wish he'd stop the "buffer 180" it makes the whole thing look cheap and tacky! apart from that and his muck "its time" call he's grand.

    Mike Goldberg is a clown

"Mo Smith once told me that a leg kick is like getting hit with a baseball bat at 80 miles per hour"

At least we hav'nt heard that one in a while lol

Goldie and rogan are great.. My only gripe is that sometimes rogan gets too involved as a fan and shows obvious favouritism. ala Griffin v Rampage. Poor Goldie gets things wrong all the time but I just think its funny - especially when joe corrects him. All and all I think they are a great team and the ufc wouldnt be the same without them..

I do like when they bring a third person on for the play by play tho, so hopefully we'll see this again in the future.

Bas Ruttens > Goldie and Rogan

Goldberg is clueless and Rogan should stick to the comedy!

Bas is the man! I hav'nt enjoyed his dream commentary as much as his pride stuff though, maybe its because of that chump kenny sitting next to him.. Bas can be pretty cheesy on Inside Mma too..

    Still love the guy though!

I caught that too, Goldberg and either Joe Silva or Lorenzo were doing impressions of Buffer taking the piss out of him. hilarious!!!

Yeah I think he said it to Joe a few events ago and Joe said no its not. They've since progressed to talking about leg kicks that make a thud instead of a slap when they connect, they are the ones that really hurt. :D thanks Mike.

All joking aside Mike and Joe make a good team IMO and the UFC definitely wouldnt be the same without them.

For those complaining about Buffer being amatuerish, c'mon guys the guy does a great job, and the production of the UFC events is top notch.

If anyone wants to see amatuerish production, look back at Afflictions first event and in particular the weigh ins.

There are always gonna be idiots. The Joe Rogan gig the night before was even worse. Lads were lamped before Rogan even came on stage. I thought the crowd generally were excellent for the who thing, though. It's all part of the show

I love Joe, Goldie and Buffer. Although I am weary of the impact Rogan has over mma. A lot of lads watching the show that don't know anything about martial arts take Rogan's words as gospel and I certainly don't agree with everything he says. But he is coherent, eloquent and on the ball most of the time so I like him. Goldie talks nonsense but is a good foil.

Goldberg is a bi of a plank, but Rogan and Buffer are legends. The 180 thing is just good showbiz!
