Look over on weather section, looks like we are in for a dumping!

Came down pretty heavy here in Castleconnell.... I was going to go to Galway tonight, but unless it pisses rain all day to wash it away, I'm not going to chance it. Driving across the mountains of Clare in this weather doesn't appeal to me for some reason. :)

That was definitely the heaviest snowfall I've ever seen in Limerick. There was a good 2 inches of it on my car this morning, and on the drive into the city, I passed a load of cars looking like cakes on wheels :D

Yeah there was a bunch of people out of work today where i work too using the snow as an excuse as well. I had to help to take up the slack too....feckers.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,097 ✭✭✭✭zuroph

ah yeah, i was landing no1 in it, I'll just have to pick up the slack tomorrow, i would have had to drive to dungarvan, not great roads, especially with snow and ice. so justified IMO.

I robbed this off the weather boards!!
perhaps you're right pangea and we will get snow on Sunday. although, to be fair, on the broadcasts i listened to yesterday, the forecaster did say that snow would accumulate during the night at lower levels. they only mentioned the snow being confined to high ground during the day.

anyway, hopefully this chart is correct for Sunday
