Where are all the work at the weekend complainers.
Couldnt even find a thread about it.

It was dark and cold and snowing and icey this morning and if i play my cards right and stay long enough it will be dark and cold and snowing and icey when im going home !

I work 2weekends a month, nights or days. Its great, people think its terrible but I get a week off every month and then I do act smug and slothful while people are tooing and froing from work!

I worked the 10- 7.30 shift (retail) on time and a half and will get paid more for that than I will for my five shifts next week. It was really lonely though, I was the only staff member on my half of the floor for 2 hours, bahh. Still, I absolutely love time and a half..

I kinda work weekends as I am in a cover band and play many Friday and Saturday nights but I am playing guitar, singing and drinking beer so not the most strenuous tbh, and fairly well paid.

Work weekends, bank holidays, special events, the whole shebang. Don't bother me in the slightest. Annoys my OH though.

One thing that bugs me though is when people ask if I get paid extra for bank holidays/weekends etc. No, I'm a manager, I get paid a salary which covers that. Cue the "Ah thats ****," from them. Em, how?

Oh, I'm posting from bed. For all those that rubbed our noses in it at the weekend, I'm off today. Monday. You know the way you hate going in on Monday? I'm not. Not going in tomorrow either. Muahahaha.:cool:

Engineering/Project Planning on refineries and the likes throughout the Middle east (dont want to get too specific). Not the best place in the world to live or anything but the job security is decent and there's no tax on the wages.

that said, they dont mind me coming in after a few (too many) scoops, and i love my job so its all goooood!
