Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cubase or Ableton? Which Version?

    Hi Folks,

Finally going to upgrade my studio set up. Looking into Cubase or Ableton. Can't quite fork out the €600 for Cubase 5 Full, but is Cubase 5 Studio a good buy at €400? Or Ableton Live 7 at €349?

Obviously I'll have to factor in MIDI down the line, but any views which one to go for? I'm running Vista at the minute but might be going Mac in the next 6 months.

    Regards!

Both are great but for different purposes...too many to mention here but if you google Cubase VS Ableton you will find loads of info to help you make a decision.

To answer your other question, I run both Cubase 4 and Ableton Live 7 on Windows Vista without any problems.
