hows the weight on it? does it have webcam/mic? can you give us some more comprehensive specs? cos they don't go too in depth on the site.
The mothers looking for a decent cost effective laptop and this seems like it might be perfect.

That said shes going over to london in 2 weeks time. maybe she'd be better gettin one over there?

quite as a whisper,...2.8kg weight, built in mic but no built in webcam, as for getting one in the UK,...they might be an online store only,..not sure, be carefull ! they have quite a few different configs around the €300 mark, some have faster cpu but smaller HD & less memory,.. I found the one I got here good value. If you can manage to order in the UK to a UK address you can save about €15, see Uk link below...
