Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've had 3 goldfish for roughly 3 months now, one of them started to get the "whitespot" disease whers his head had a few little white spots around his head. I got a treatment for tat and changed the filter in the tank and they have ruduced a fair bit but now he seems to have trouble swimming around the tank.

He seems to float around upside down and lie on the gravel in the corner of the tank, and recently in the last few days he floats at the top of the tank but will swim off, upside down, if anyone comes close.

anyone ever come over anything like this?

    Hi,
That sounds like a swim bladder problem. The swim bladder is a little balloon inside the fish that should be half filled with water, half filled with air so they can swim around freely. If it gets too much water, the fish cannot swim up and if it is too full of air the fish cannot swim downwards. You can get a treatment in most shops for it. It costs about €10.

Have you tested your water parameters. Ammonia, Nitite, Nitrate and pH.
