Opel Astra 1999 Radio, possible to pick up MW/AM?

    Hi, I have an Opel Astra and recently got a new car radio.
    My old Radio was unable to pick up any MW stations and I was hoping this new one would but no joy.
    Anyone have any idea how to boost the MW signal in a 99 Astra?
