    Is there any coarses available for medical psychology in Ireland yet ?

    No, and I believe you have to first be a clinical psychologist to do that course in the USA.

    what do you mean by 'medical psychology"?
    There are psychologists who work in oncology, pain management, neuorpsychology...

    Google it. It's a clinical psych who has gained an additional qualification that enables him/her to prescribe certain psychiatric medicines.

    Not legal here. Very illegal!

    the only people who can prescribe medication here in Ireland are medical doctors and specially qualified nurses.
