Merz - anyone a fan?

Came across this singer songwriter called Merz. A song called Blues Became. Absolutely brilliant. I think it was recorded in 98/99 but sounds like something from kid a to me. Anyway - check it out if you liked that album. I'm going to download a few other tunes by him. If anyone has any recommendations let me know
