Underfloor : airlocking / bubbles ?

Our upstairs underfloor system is acting up, I think.
I identified one problem : electrician had wired one room stat to the wrong
    actuator.
Before I realised there was a wiring issue I played a little with the little
cylindical flow meters by untightening them, etc and also trying to see
if the bleeder/nipple valve would let out any air.

In recent evenings/nights the system is making a lot of gurgling and even
by playing with the room thermostats the largest room upstairs is not
coming up to temp. It is calling for 20C and it is making about 17.4 max.
The flow meters for the two loops have a slightly misty look compared
to those on the loops for the other upstairs zones/rooms. I also can see
what looks like air bubbles in the slightly opaque white tubing corresponding
to the return flow from some of the loops. The bleeder valve itself occasionally hisses. Does it sound like I have air in the system that needs to be vented ? Is it likely that the plumber might have to repressurise/refill ?

Obviously I will wait for the pro to come tomorrow but I am just wondering if anyone on the forum familiar with these systems might have a clue as to what might be happening.
