Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hmmm.

There's a loss of detail in the white hairs owing to over exposure I think. I'd look at toning down those whites.

I like the composition though and so much personality in that cat.

blown highlights allright, but good capture nonetheless...... as Calina said, a cat with personality..... which still shows in the eyes :)

You don't want another person telling you about the blown highlights so I'll just say it's a bit close to the Cat for me....maybe because the Cat has personality I want to see more of it...from a bit further back.

gah! all the exif is stripped out :)

I like it and I like the colour if perhaps a little bright.

Point of focus I think to me would be a main point of critique - I would expect that this should be with the eyes (at least one) in pin sharp focus but they appear to me to be a little soft - maybe that was the intention.

What aperture did you shoot? (sorry - the exif was gone, I did check).

A nice shot though - i like it.

Vaguely in the same theme (rather than start a new thread),
one of the best films with a pet in it will be on RTE 2 at 12.15 a.m. tonight.

"Bombon - El Perro" has a wonderful white dog as the main character and some of the finest photography I have ever seen. Good music too...

it was filmed in patagonia, argentina, a very nice place (I was there in that particular region in the year 2000, great memories), love the movie, will record it to watch it again
