long term van hire

    My work group is hoping to hire a van for field work around Ireland from May-September and looking to spend approx. 400/month or less including insurance. Alternatively, we could rent on a daily basis for 35-40/day (incl insurance) if the hire company would agree to pick up and drop off in S. Dublin on the weeks we were using the vehicle.

    Does anyone know any van hire companies in/near Dublin that might accomodate that kind of arrangement?

    Enterprise all the way. They are the biggest agency for hiring commerical vehicles nationwide to the commerical industry and will give you a better rate.

    Just make sure the vehicle has a current tax disc. I'd say 60% of the time I got a car/van from them the tax was out. Other than that they were great and usually leave a cereal bar and a carton of juice in the vehicle if it's collected in the morning time :)
