FIFA 09 Unranked matches (xbox)?

The option to play an unranked match has gone from my xbox live options tab. i.e. It only gives me the option to play a ranked match. Also I cannot invite anyone in my friends list to a game. i.e invite to game option greyed out. But I can invite players through league. Any ideas? Ta
