Hi. I'm with Meteor billpay for over 12 months now and I rang them yesterday, wanting to switch to Meteor Pay as you go. The woman on the phone told me that they would send me a txt, then i would have to turn me phone off for half an hour. However no text came- was wondering if you have to wait a month before you can…

Nope. You sign for Talk 300 (for example), then after 6 months, you can switch down to Talk 60. If you port out, you will be charged 6 months by the original tariff you signed to. You are able to switch down as long as you keep the contract active still, so you are not tied to the plan for more than 6 months, but if you cancel, you will be charged penalties based on the original plan you signed to.
